I am so grateful that one Saturday morning last fall, I decided to plant tulip bulbs instead of sleeping in!
Today was a VERY long day. I just walked in the door a few moments ago after having walked out of the same door about 15 hours earlier. As my garage door was closing I was thinking about how there just aren't enough hours in the day and wondering how I would ever be able to accomplish all that is on my plate right now. Standing at my front door, I looked back over my shoulder and saw that my tulips had finally started to bud today! I remembered planting them in October and thinking how amazing it was that in just four or five months, from those funny little bulbs would bloom my favorite flower.
With so much on my mind....I had walked right past them....without even noticing what I have been anticipating all winter.......TULIPS! So glad that for whatever reason......I stopped and looked back! I LOVE TULIPS...and I love the lesson they taught me today!

I love the tulips!!! The only greenery around here are my weeds in the flower beds and they are doing wonderfully!!!
