BIG.....BIG....NEWS........and I mean BIG

So there we were at the Howarths house tonight; Robert, Holly, Spenny, El, Will, Ben, Boo, Nana, Grandpa (aka "mom and dad) and me.....sitting down to an AMAZING dinner that Holly had prepared, when dad said, "Your mother has an announcement she would like to make." Holly and I looked at mom and at the exact time said, "You're pregnant?" She said, "no". "Daddy and I are going on a mission......and we will be leaving in March."
Spencer.....Ellery, William, Ben, Boo.....your Grandparents just announced that they are going on a mission......WHAT Are you going to do?

"WE'RE GOING TO DISNEYLAND!!!"

I was so excited I almost lost the asparagus (with Holly's famous and legendary hollindaise sauce) right out of my mouth. Did they say mission? Then I started to cry. (Kind of like I am right now.) I have never been more proud of them in my life. My mom and dad are going on a mission! They are sacrificing 18 months of their life to go and serve the Lord! I whispered to William, "Can you believe it Will, your nana and grandpa are going on a mission....do you know why?" Sweet William replied, "Because they're good people?" William has never been more right! *

*

I am so proud of them and happy for them. Sister Hutchins will be the best "Mission Secretary" and Elder Moose will be the the best "Fleet Manager" that the California, Anaheim Mission has ever seen! I love you mom and dad! *

* Here are a few more pictures from tonight. Did I mention that today is "Camo Club" day? The only way to be a full fledged member of the club is to be wearing an article of camouflage clothing.

WE ARE SO EXCITED!!!! Although we will miss having our Nana and Grandpa right around the corner, we are thrilled to have them be missionaries and set such a good example to us and our kids. PLUS...who doesn't want to go visit them in Anaheim???? We are so proud!!

I am so happy!!!! Annie was doing the "happy dance" most of the night although we realized she was stuck on the part where I said, "Nana and Grandpa will be moving close to us, ..." When I told Annie they would be moving close to our friends in Irvine (20 minutes away) she said, "No, you said they would be moving close to us!!" Oh dear, she thought we would literally be neighbors.

What a wonderful announcement!!
